Vetsuisse Council

The Vetsuisse Faculty is a fusion formed in 2006 between the two veterinary medicine faculties of the Universities of Bern and Zurich. The supreme strategic governing body, the Vetsuisse Council, is presided over by the President of each university on an alternating basis. In 2025 and 2026 the President of the University of Zurich is Chairman of the Vetsuisse Council.

The General Secretariat manages the business concerning the Vetsuisse Council on behalf of the UZH.
